Disciples of Jesus – Praising God – Caring for Its Community

Our Congregation

We have an active congregation of around 425 members and adherents who make up our Church. Sunday morning worship is usually attended by between 100 and 120 members and we also worship monthly at the Dundonald Sheltered Housing Complex and in Loans Village Hall (presently suspended) so feel free to come and join us at any time. We’re sure you’ll find a warm, friendly atmosphere where you will feel welcome. Monthly services are held in Dundonald House Nursing Home, alternating between the old and new buildings.

We also have a thriving Sunday School and Bible class which meet during the Sunday service time. Crèche facilities are available on Sunday mornings to allow parents of babies & toddlers to attend worship.

We also have thriving House Groups which cater for those who wish to further their christian education and knowledge of the Bible.

Financially self-supporting, our congregation also helps to support the M’lore nursery in Malawi which, together with the local Church at Mdjaka, forms a vital support network for the local population in this exceedingly poor area.

The annual Christian Aid appeal and other appeals made during the year are always well supported not only by our congregation but by the village in general.

We have two principal fund raising events each year, our Summer Fete and our Christmas Fayre, both of which are held in our Church Hall which is along the lane opposite the Church.
